Woman found dead after being choked and severely beaten with a blunt object on Viola Street on Thursday morning. The Corpus Christi Police Department is searching for a man of interest in this mornings cold blooded Murder. At approximately 2 a.m. Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Viola Street for a woman found in a puddle of blood in front of her home.
When police arrived they found a woman surrounded in a pool of blood. The woman was found to be severely beaten with a blunt object and choked. It is unknown of what weapon was used. Witnesses say they saw the victim and the man who is a person of interest at this time arguing at the home on Viola Street. The person of interest is Henry Garza and Corpus Christi Police want to speak with him. One family member says that the possible motive of the murder was because the victim wanted the suspect to leave her home.
