At approximately 7:40 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 the Corpus Christi Police Department responded to an abduction at a daycare facility on the intersection of Elgin Drive and Greenwood Drive. When police arrived they found a woman in distress saying when she arrived to the daycare facility to drop off her child inside her vehicle was stolen with her other child inside of the vehicle. Police began searching for a red BMW in the area. Ten minutes later Police recieved an unidentified call from a subject telling police there was an abandoned vehicle with a baby inside on Sabinas Street near Morgan Aveneue. Police responded immediately and found a red BMW SUV with the a 1 year old girl inside on Sabinas Street and began asking resident nearby what they saw. Police blocked off the area where they conducted a forensic investigation for evidence. The child was found safe and returned back to the parent.
