One person shot at motel on North Beach on Friday morning

At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021 the Corpus Christi Police Department was dispatched to the Knights Inn motel on North Beach for a shooting. When police arrived they found no victim, but did find blood trail to a room that was later to be found unoccupied.

Several minutes later, police dispatch recieved a call from a man reporting that he had been shot. The victim was found in a white BMW several miles away at a convenience store at the intersection of I-37 and Navigation Boulevard. When paramedics arrived they found a gunshot wound to the victims arm. The victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

Police began investigating at the crime scene on North Beach and found a gun shell casing. A witness say they saw the suspect with a description of light skinned male wearing blue jeans and a muscle shirt. This is a developing story, stay tuned for more updates with the Crónica.
