The man who kidnapped a 1 year old child and the mother on Tuesday afternoon near Airline Road has a Murder Warrant for the death of 32 year old Emily Walthers. The suspect, Kristian Garcia, has murder warrant out of Nueces County set at $1,000,000 and U.S. Marshals are actively searching for him and the two he abducted.
On Wednesday, May 26 around 1:55 a.m., Corpus Christi police officers responded to the 4800 block of Alameda where they found a woman’s dead body.
Officers said the reporting party told police that the owner of the apartment had been in jail for several weeks and when he returned to his residence after being released, he entered the apartment and found 32-year-old Emily Walthers.
The Nueces Counry Medical Examiners Office officially ruled Emily Walthers death a homicide. On June 4th, the Corpus Christi Homice Investigators were looking through a dumpster container for evidence of this homicide. No details on what investigators found.
Police on Wednesday, June 9th announced the Murder Warrant after Kristian Garcia invaded a home and kidnapped 1 year old Zaylee Zamora and 18 year old Jezabel Zamora.
The Zamora family says Kristian Garcia forced Jezabel and her daughter, Zaylee Zamora, to leave with him against their will. The two are believed to be in danger, authorities said, and an Amber Alert was issued late Tuesday night.
If you see Kristian Garcia, pictured on the right, call your local authorities immediately. Police and US Marshals are also actively searching for Rodrick Garcia who was an accomplice to the kidnapping.
