1 year old Jesselle Lopez who was found unresponsive due to abuse at the Latitute Apartments on May 10th will have a funeral service on Tuesday and Wednesday, says the family.
It was on May 10th when Jesselle Lopez was found unresponsive and was rushed to Driscoll Hospital. The biological father, Jesse Lopez, was split up with the mother and the children were living with the mother and her boyfriend at the Latitude Apartments on the 6400 block of Weber Road.
Police arrested the mother’s boyfriend, 31 year old Mark Anthony Hernandez for Capital Murder and Injury To A Child. Hernandez is awaiting trial in the Nueces County Jail on a $1,030,000 bail bond. The biological father, Jesse Lopez, says the mother had kept his two children away from him and he had been trying to get his kids back through the court system.

A public rosary has been scheduled at the Corpus Christi Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 7-9 p.m.
The burial service will be on Wednesday May, 26, 2021 from 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m. ( Leaves from Corpus Christi Funeral Home to St. Joseph Church) to be proceeded to Rose Hill Cemetery for burial.
