It all started as the nightclub let out shortly after 2 a.m. when a Corpus Christi police officer went over dispatch radio calling for backup. It was unclear due to the background loudness of the reason for more officer units were called by the officer.
Shortly after, the officer called over the radio that shots had been fired. When more officer units responded they found one person shot and started to apply pressure to the gunshot wound of the male subject. Police officer began to secure the crime scene.
As the Crónica was broadcasting Facebook Live on the scene, a woman that claimed she was the sister to the shot subject, says her brother was shot for no reason and the shooting stemmed from a drug related incident that was occurring in the parking lot between other subjects.

No word yet if whether the subject was armed with a firearm or other weapon at the time of the shooting.
