1-Year Old Jesselle Lopez Fighting For Life After Injured By Step Father

1-year old Jesselle Lopez is fighting for her life today in a local hospital after being injured. On Monday, 31 year old Mark Anthony Hernandez was arrested on Injury to a Child charges and is currently incarcerated in the Nueces County Jail. The injuries of the child took place at the Latitude Apartments on the 6400 block of Weber Road on Monday afternoon around 3 p.m.

Jesselle Lopez’s biological father, Jesse Lopez, was out of state working when he heard that his daughter was seriously injured by the suspect. Lopez had to leave his job and take an airplane back to Texas where was delayed in being with his daughter by severe thunderstorms that took place Tuesday night.
